The Beginning

Good Shepherd Support Services began with a simple but powerful dream: to care for others the way we would want our own loved ones to be cared for.

Our founders, Nics and Malou, are a husband-and-wife team who started their journey with humble beginnings and big hearts. As first-generation immigrants who arrived in Canada in the early 2010s, they understood firsthand how important compassion, dignity, and reliable support are—especially when navigating health care in a new country.

Malou began her career in Canada as a caregiver, while Nics worked in Non-Emergency Patient Transfer services. Both were already registered nurses in the Philippines, and through their daily work, they rediscovered their true passion: nursing and hands-on patient care. Determined to serve at a higher level, they continued their education and became Registered Nurses in the province of Ontario and in the state of New York, Unites States.

Through years of frontline experience, Nics and Malou saw a growing need for personalized, high-quality nursing care—care that truly listens, connects, and puts people first. That realization led to the creation of Good Shepherd Support Services: a nursing care agency built to connect clients and families with compassionate, skilled, and dependable care.

Today, Good Shepherd Support Services continues to grow, guided by the same values it was founded on—faith, empathy, and genuine human connection.

If you are located in the Greater Toronto Area, especially in North York or Vaughan, we would be honored to support you or your loved ones. From the very first conversation, you are already family to us. We look forward to serving you with caring, compassionate, and connected nursing care.
